Well Terry, I'm rather excited about this news! I've been wanting to read the original M&P since 1998. I can't wait to get both issues!
I'm a little suprised to hear about your reasoning for not re-issueing M&P ealier, though. Considering the level of violence and sexuality in the comic industry when it was originally released, it doesn't seem like it would be an issue. Still, I'd have to commend you for thinking about it. A lot of creaters haven't been that responsible in this area *cough*Rob Leifeld*cough*(How many terribly written bad girls with really big guns fighting crime in g-strings do we really need?). Anyway, it's good to hear that this was on you mind. But considering what you've created in SIP, I don't think that one issue could neccessarily be that damaging. The bulk of the series has been has been very positive, and has pushed to show it's characters (particularly it's women) in a realistic manner. It seems like it would have to be a pretty dark issue to over-shadow this book as a whole. I don't know, I guess I'll have to wait to read it.
My 2 cents. Thanks for listening.

Oh my gawd, THANK YOU!
I have wanted to read that story for I don't know how long! I was ready to take some drastic (and expensive) measures to get my hands on a copy! Now I don't have to! YAY! Excellent decision, Terry! You're the bomb-diggity!!

Welcome to the board! Hope you enjoy your visit. Here's some oreos and milk, they seem to be the welcoming food around here.

Yummy! Thank you for the oreos and milk. And also for the warm welcome. I reread the posts on this topic, and I noticed a post questioning the state of comics in 1997 that would target Molly and Poo for its dark content. I'm not going to presume to know anything about Molly and Poo specifically, but I do remember that comics in general were being targeted pretty heavily by some right wing groups in 1997. There were several cases of "distribution of obscene material" being tried that year over titles like Spawn, Verotika, etc. Whether or not this had any bearing on Molly and Poo, I could not say. I hope not. Molly and Poo was a very intelligent, well written piece of fiction and I'm certainly glad it will be reprinted.
